Applications
If you like the property and wish to proceed, you will be invited to submit a pre-application.
All pre-applications are forwarded to the landlord for consideration.
Once a successful applicant has been chosen by the landlord, you will then:
Pay one week’s rent to secure the property
Be referred to Rightmove Referencing for full pre-tenancy checks
Receive a Holding Deposit Agreement / receipt for signature
The one week’s rent paid will be deducted from your first rental payment once the tenancy begins.
A bond will also be required

Credit checks

✔️ This payment is non-refundable if the applicant fails referencing checks, affordability assessments, does not provide the required documentation, or withdraws their application.

✔️ All applicants must successfully pass referencing and affordability checks.

✔️ A suitable guarantor is required and must also pass referencing checks.

✔️ Upon successful completion of all checks, the remaining balance of the first month's rent will be due before move-in.

✔️ A bond/deposit equivalent to one month's rent is also required before move-in.

This payment forms part of your first rent
A Bond equivalent to 4 weeks rent is required before move in
There are no other additional fees payable to Browns Estate Agents
